BVI UNDERAGE SELECTION POLICY

State Team Selection

The Underage Lead Coaches will select a State Team to represent Victoria at the National Championships based on the following criteria:

Results at the Victorian Championships
Performance in tournaments over the past 12 months
Attendance at Boxing Victoria programs, e.g. Development Camps, Futures Camps.

Winning the Victorian Championships does not guarantee State Team selection.

In the event that a Victorian Champion is determined due to there being only one boxer entered in the weight category, the Underage Lead Coaches reserve the right to mandate a box off between that boxer and a boxer eliminated from a different weight division that meets the abovementioned criteria.
